A 14-year-old female German Shepherd named Sable is living out her senior years in a shelter unless she finds a new home soon. The dog is described as having a good nature who is interacts well with other dogs, cats, and children. Sable lost her home when her guardian was killed. She has nowhere else to go and needs rescue. Sable is currently in the York, PA SPCA. The following was posted on facebook with contact details.
Poor Sable was brought to the shelter because her guardian was murdered! Sable is a stunning senior who is spayed and she does well with dogs, cats and kids!!! The only thing Sable is not good about is having her nails trimmed but other than that she is a sweetheart!!!!! The environment here is stressful and she misses the comforts of a home. This girl is a dream but she's living a nightmare having lost everything at the age of fourteen. Please contact me ASAP if you can help her!!! Sable is a WONDERFUL dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
