Dividend investors rejoice! I have found another double digit dividend yielder. American Capital Mortgage Investment Corp. is another REIT and it is a newer one so there isn’t a lot of history to judge it by yet but so far the performance is stellar. How about 14.46% dividend yield? This amounts to 90 cents per quarter on each share. Presently company shares are going for $24.86. This is a growing company which just recently (Feb. 2013) offered a bucketful of new shares to raise capital for new acquisitions.

Personally I like a longer company history but so far this looks really promising. The share price has also gained 11% during the past year. Presently American Capital Mortgage has a payout ratio of 40%.
