Get ready for warmer Utah weather by cooling off and relaxing with these 14 treats, one for each week of summer! They're simple enough for the kids to help make and satisfying to both old and young. Let's not forget to mention that making (and enjoying) them is a great family activity!

14 Summer Treats

  1. Tropical Slush: This tropical frozen treat can be served in fun parfait cups with little umbrellas or hallowed-out pineapples or coconuts
  2. Jello Pudding Pops: Think back to those jello pudding pops you enjoyed as a child. Be sure to use Jillee's "tried and perfected" recipe in the blog
  3. Rainbow Popsicles: A fun, colorful treat that's easy to make with limeade and food coloring
  4. Mini Smores Cups: Head to the canyon or your backyard with this creative idea for smores made in muffin tins
  5. Mini Fruit Pizzas: What a good way to mix fruit with something sweet to enjoy as a snack on a warm summer day

Most ingredients can be found at your local grocery store, but a few items may need to be bought at specialty health food stores. Also, a few of the recipes use craft sticks/popsicle sticks, which are sold at most grocery stores in Salt Lake that have a craft section, or a larger variety of colors and sizes can be found at Joann Fabric and Craft Store.
