Marc Anthony, Pablo Alborán, Miguel Bosé, Natalia Lafourcade, Draco Rosa, Carlos Vives and Jesse & Joy (Ft. Mario Domm) are the first performers announced for the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards. The Latin Recording Academy® announced on Oct. 31, 2013 the first nominees to perform live on Nov. 21. at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Carlos Vives with five nominations and Draco Rosa with three will also be performing at The Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year gala preceding the awards. Other confirmed performers are Juanes, Alejandro Sanz, Laura Pausini and Julieta Venegas. Honoree Miguel Bosé, who also earned two nominations, was chosen by the Academy as 'Person of the Year' for his philanthropic and professional accomplishments. The prestigious gala is presented by Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry and will take place at the same venue.
In addition to producing the Latin GRAMMY® Awards to honor excellence in the recorded arts and sciences, The Latin Recording Academy provides educational and outreach programs for the Latin music community. The organization constituted by Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking recording artists, musicians, songwriters, producers and other creative and technical recording professionals.
The Biggest Night in Latin Music™ will air live by the Hispanic network, Univision Network from 8-7 P.M.. ET and will be supported by the official Latin GRAMMY® radio station, Univision Radio. In addition, for the third consecutive year, the Awards will be featured Live on the event's official website.
