I got a great idea the other day with it being 2013 and my goals of getting UFO's finished and working on new projects that every thirteenth day of the year, I'd give an update on what I've done. And here it is, late at night on the 13th of January and I almost forgot!
So after thirteen days into the new year, I have completed one UFO (pink baby sweater), one single crochet dishcloth (you can see it over on Ravelry.com) and I sewed a little wallet/bag for one of my daughter's friend's 16th birthday.
When I put these things on here saying I've finished them, it doesn't seem like much, but the baby sweater did take me about a week to finish. I did have to run and get two more skeins of yarn. The single crochet dishcloth, I mainly did that to show my eleven year old what hers should look like, but I'll be adding it to my collection I plan on creating so come Christmas time I'll have a bunch to work from. I do love making those little bags, they are so quick and easy! Takes me less than an hour as long as there aren't any glitches.
So I haven't done any snowflakes yet so I need to try and get at least one done tomorrow. If I can do two, that would catch me up. I am trying to get two different KAL's begun and I want to make two dishcloths from my monthly dishcloth group. I went through my entire stash of yarn so I know what I have to use up. I promised my husband I wouldn't buy any new yarn unless I needed it for a specific project. Just trying to use up what I've got!
So that's my update for the 13th of January. The next update will be on the 26th and hopefully I'll have a lot to show!
