A 13-year-old was arrested for trying to rob a Radio Shack in Fallbrook.
The male juvenile, whose name has not been released, walked into the Radio Shack on 1075 S. Mission Avenue in Fallbrook around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and announced that he was there to rob the store and demanded three iPods.
The clerk noticing his age, didn't take him seriously and told him to get out of the store. The suspect then told the clerk that he had a gun and wanted the iPods.
The clerk told him he would go to the back of the store to get them, but instead went to the back of the store and called the police.
The police arrived within minutes and apprehended the juvenile inside the store.
No weapon was found.
The suspect was booked into Juvenile Hall on attempted robbery charges.
