13 new Warner Archive titles feature Marie Dressler plus 7 silent films

My last post updating the Warner Archives titles put the count at 208, but when I headed over to the site today I saw there are now 222 titles listed under the Warner Archive count. So I might be missing 1 this time, but at the very least I see 13 new titles to tell you about!

All titles appear to be available individually at $19.95 apiece, but once again Warner has created some half priced bundles for us to save on. The collection of 7 Silent Films is priced at $69.95, and then the new Marie Dressler titles have been grouped into 2 different tiers, one with 4 movies at $39.95, the other with all 6 titles at $59.95.

Each of the 13 new titles follow, and again, each is available individually for $19.95.

Silent Films:

  • "Beau Brummel" (1924) stars John Barrymore, Mary Astor
  • "The Sea Hawk" (1924) stars Milton Sills, Enid Bennett
  • "The Better Ole" (1926) stars Syd Chaplin
  • "When a Man Loves" (1927) stars John Barrymore, Dolores Costello
  • "Old San Francisco" (1927) stars Dolores Costello, Warner Oland
  • "The First Auto" (1928) stars Russell Simpson, Gibson Gowland
  • "The Divine Lady" (1929) stars Corinne Griffith, Victor Varconi

Marie Dressler:

  • "Let Us Be Gay" (1930) stars Norma Shearer, Marie Dressler
  • "Min and Bill" (1930) stars Marie Dressler, Wallace Beery
  • "Politics" (1931) stars Marie Dressler, Polly Moran
  • "Reducing" (1931) stars Marie Dressler, Polly Moran
  • "Emma" (1932) stars Marie Dressler, Richard Cromwell
  • "Tugboat Annie" (1933) stars Marie Dressler, Wallace Beery

I put a space in between the Marie Dressler titles to show that the first 4 are in the $39.95 group and then "Emma" and "Tugboat Annie" get added to the $59.95 package.

I'll do my best to continue updating the classic (pre-1960) film titles added to the Warner Archives collection. At this point I can barely contain myself from checking the site!
