Want a wonderful, unique, and totally Minnesota thing to do, not too far from the Cities? Winter Festivities are calling you to Northfield, MN, Thursday, Dec. 9, from 5-9 p.m.. Just one half hour from Burnsville, The 12th Annual Winter Walk festivities will commence with a candle-lit winter walk. It's going to be a night right out of a Charles Dickens novel, replete with horse-drawn rides, Krumkake demonstrations, a strolling Frosty the Snow Man and Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer. The kiddies can make ornaments and drink hot cocoa, and the older set can enjoy the Festival of Wreaths and a "Nagcracker" Dance Performance.
