Dick Powell, the lead advisor for the Small Business Development Center of Clatsop Community College, enjoys working one-on-one with entrepreuners to build long-term, supportive relationships with local business owners and those in the community seeking to get their own businesses started or reorganized. Clatsop Economic Development Resources is a private organization connected to the Small Business Administration, providing a variety of economic development services to encourage and support businesses in Clatsop County. Dick Powell has had a successful career in the business world, and has an educational background in both business and philosophy. He and his wife live in Seaside, and Dick teaches online classes for the University of Phoenix. Powell enjoys helping entreprenuers connect with one another, and build their businesses here in Astoria and Clatsop County.
