12 12 Gallery hosts first portrait photography exhibit

On view through Sunday, April 14 is International Juried Portrait Photography Exhibition 2013, the first of its kind hosted by 12 12 Gallery.

The exhibition’s 40 images by 35 artists were chosen by Juror Stephen Perloff from a selection of 380 images by 99 artists.

Perloff is the founder and editor of The Photo Review.

Director’s Choice finalists include Richmond artists Regula Franz, Dana Horvath, Yvonne Humphries, and Dorin Todor, Midlothian’s Lew Lott, Vienna, Va.’s Joe Morey and DC’s Antonia Tricarico.

Finalists include Richmond’s Mark Mitchell, Dan Mouer, and Dorin Todor.

12 12 Gallery is now located at 0 East 4th Street #39, and can be reached at 804/301-6971. Gallery hours are Friday-Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
