Hey you Phoenix or Tucson residents who like to ride Harleys or like to ride any bike that moves...do you know what this coming weekend is? Even if it’s been years since you hoisted your leg over two wheels, it's OK. You may just like to glance at bikes, bikers or biker followers.. Check out the 11th annual Rocky Point Rally this weekend in Puerto Penasco, Mexico.
It's not too late to decide this is how you want to spend your Veteran’s Day weekend. What you will find this weekend within a 3.5 hour drive is live music, pirate boat rides, bikini contests, bike parades, charity events, more live music and free tequila shots.

Since the rally started in 2001, 100% of the biker’s registration fees went to local charities and programs to benefit the folks of Puerto Penasco. This year they are even having toys for tots drive.
If you don't have a 2 or 3 wheeler you can still register for the Calle 13 "Walking Dice Roll" or poker runs if you have the bike. Friday and Saturday the famous Pirate Ship "El Rey Del Mar" will be offering free pirate rides to the first 100 registrants. Mixed in with all a plethora of events is the infamous bike parade on the Malecon on Saturday, if this is the only event you decide to participate in or watch you will have enjoyed the drive down for the weekend.
Streets will be blocked off, friendly people will be everywhere raising money for charity and beautiful bikes of all designs will be riding around. Yes, the beautiful Sea of Cortez will be in the background and oh yeah as I mentioned in the beginning, free tequila shots (check the schedule!)
