The Public Policy Speaker Series, sponsored by Polsinelli Shughart, will feature the topic, What's at Stake in the 113th Congress, on Wednesday, January 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the InterContinental Kansas City, 401 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri.
The presentation will feature dialogue about the nation’s 113th Congress and will be led by former Congressmen Kenny Hulshof (R-Missouri) and Jim Slattery (D-Kansas) -- presenting bipartisan and bistate insider perspectives on who to watch and what will happen on Capitol Hill in 2013.
Registration is required. The cost to attend is $22 for KC Chamber members and $35 for non-members. Registration includes breakfast.
Hulshof, a partner with Polsinelli Shughart, was a six-term U.S. Congressman. Slattery, a partner at the D.C. law firm of Wiley and Rein, was a six-term U.S. Congressman.
