Bikers ALWAYS find ways to help and honor our military, since so many of them have also served.
Dallas Motorcycle Clubs brought bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts together to eat mudbugs (their 10th annual) and support Operation Homefront, Texas Military Soldiers and their families. In Deep Ellum, Reno's Chop Shop, hosted the event and Old Bike Shop (Specializing in Panheads, Shovelheads, Knuckleheads) orchestrated the “Ride-in Bike Show”.
Don’t miss watching the slide show of the event with all the colorful people that attended. It’s funny how ‘non-motorcycle riders’ tend to see nothing but the image that Hollywood exaggerates and dramatizes to the ‘nth’ degree, (just to sell their movies or TV dramas) when they see a group like this from afar. You know the way they recoil or lock their car doors when they see leather-clad bikers roll up beside them at a red light? If this describes you, then you’ve got a lot to learn (just as I did) about this ultra loyal, always-got-your-back, tight knit family of two wheels and you’ll be better-off for it.
So sit back, watch the slide show and read the foot notes.
