Only a short drive from South Bend, on the shores of Lake Michigan is the town of St. Joseph. Billed as the Riviera of the midwest, this town is host to some fabulous restaurants, and a huge chunk of history. In the early 1900s a small amusement park was situated right on these sunny shores, that now host a dazzling water fountain in the summer months, and the fantastic original carousel (year round).

A Fire & Ice Reception is schedules at the Shadowland Ballroom in the same building that hosts the Children's Museum and the Silver Beach Carousel, Friday Night 8 PM-Midnight. Saturday's events include the First Annual 5K Race, the Second Annual ICE WARS, and a Snow Biz Scavenger Hunt. Saturday is also Magical Fun day. Join local magician John Dudley as he visits several downtown attractions and performs a variety of magic. He is sure to be entertaining for all ages.
