A Malaysian woman who is 107 years old, fears that her 22nd husband might leave her. Her current husband is 70 years her younger and just went off to a drug rehabilitation center, according to a CNN story. The woman said that she has a gnawing feeling that he doesn’t love her anymore, and that he will leave her for a younger woman. But just in case she has set her sights on a 50-year-old man, but said that she hopes it doesn’t have to come to that, because she isn't getting any younger.
CNN reported this statement from the Malaysian woman: “I realize that I am an aged woman. I don't have the body nor am I a young woman who can attract anyone." "My intention to remarry is to fill my forlornness," particularly during the Muslim month of fasting, Ramadan, she said. Some of her husbands’ have died, some have divorced her, and on average her marriages have lasted 4 years.
In comparsion the oldest living woman in Utah was 108 and died this year, but she was only married once, according to the Deseret News.
