1000 horsepower Supra 'Green Beast'

The legendary 'Green Beast' Toyota Supra cranks out over 1000 horsepower! A killer of Lamborghini's, this JDM legend of Supra yore is a true dedication to JDM. Every Toyota Supra fan on the planet knows about the Green Beast Supra! Bringing in over 200,000 views for the dyno video alone, this is the most popular Toyota Supra on the planet next to the orange one used in Fast and Furious. Using an inline six cylinder engine and a huge turbo, the 1000 horsepower Supra is able to build boost quickly and smoke the competition.

Building extreme amounts of boost, this fully modified Toyota Supra is a knock out street racer. The first video shown below illustrates just how fast the Toyota Supra when fully modified can be. Even against the top exotic sports car, the modified Toyota Supra can literally smoke the doors off the expensive counterpart! A couple of highway pulls proves just how fast these cars can be when fully modified.

As you can see, the inline six cylinder setup when properly modified can build boost almost instantaneously. This is a huge advantage over the average vehicle and is why street racers love the Supra. The short travel of gases helps spool the turbo quickly, feeding extreme amounts of compressed air into the intake manifold. The intake and exhaust manifolds are relatively short thanks to the inline cylinder setup, reducing turbo lag time greatly and increasing the efficiency of the pressurized air entering the combustion chamber. Only the inline cylinder setup allows the shortest distance of air travel creating more power than V or horizontally opposed engines.

The Toyota Supra is a favorite of tuners not only because of the inline six cylinder setup, but also the stock transmission is strong enough to handle anywhere from 600 to 1000 horsepower. Built strong from Toyota with tuners in mind, the Toyota Supra is one of the true JDM race cars built straight from the factory. Everything from chassis design, interior placement, and mechanical internals were all built considering race application. JDM race cars are taken to the next level with Toyota Supra. can anyone tell me?

Dude, just no. Inline engines do not have the "shortest path" to turbos. In fact, an I6 or a V12 will have some of the longest paths assuming you are single turbo on the 6 and twin turbo on the 12. Think about it, the first and sixth cylinders are going to be a long way away from each other and there's only one entrance to the impeller. That aside, distance to the turbo is not really that important anyway. The 2jzgte spools decently well because the cylinder head flows well and because it's relatively large displacement.
