Taking a ride inside of America's best sports car stock is exciting, let alone adding performance gains upwards of 1000 horsepower. A quick jaunt in a 1000 horsepower Corvette Z06 will leaving you begging for more, or screaming for it to stop. True enthusiast will be begging, while the latter screaming. A quick start of the Z06 begins with the massive supporting fuel pump whine, followed by the raspy growl of eight powerful cylinders breathing 1000 horsepower. Vibrations in the camera can be seen as the beast is awoken, churning over from within. Pulling out of the neighborhood, one must be extremely careful not to upset the neighbors! 1000 horsepower has a way of doing that. Enjoy high horsepower fun? Check out some of the other 1000 horsepower articles I've created below.
The beauty about having 1000 ponies tucked away in a Corvette like this is the power, sound, and feel of a V8. Each car has it's own feeling, and no two vehicles are alike. JDM has it's own brand and sound, Euro has a specific feeling, and American muscle is also separate. JDM has a high technology, high RPM sound that is very distinctive. Euro is more of a blend between American muscle and JDM, a high revving raspy sound that is unmistakable. American muscle has a deep, explosive sound with amazing low end torque. Some folks sit on one side of the fence, but I hurdle them all and love every type of vehicle. Why limit yourself to just one type of vehicle when there is an entire world of automotive pleasures? Whether you enjoy muscle, Euro, or JDM I'm sure you can appreciate this 1000 horsepower Corvette Z06. If not, then you are missing out my friend!
