'100 Saints you should know' at Alliance Repertory starting March 29

Alliance Repertory Theatre Co. will present Kate Fedor’s acclaimed dramedy “100 Saints You Should Know" starting March 29th. Directing is the ARTC's artistic director Michael J. Driscoll.

"100 Saints" centers on a conflicted priest who leaves his congregation for the purposes of soul-searching. This award-winning drama intriguingly extends to the strife between a cleaning lady and her difficult 16-year-old daughter as well as a grocery delivery boy grappling with his sexuality. All of the characters in this play are seeking both spiritual bonds and earthly ones. Or as Theresa says at one point in the show " a surge of the heart, a cry of recognition and love. "

Artistic Director Mike Driscoll directs a talented cast including Alliance veteran Paul Zeller as Father McNally with Aaron Black as Garrett and the mother/daughter team of Beth and Hannah Painter of Westfield NJ as Theresa and her daughter Abby, as well as Dreamcatcher Repertory veteran Noreen Farley playing the priest's mother, Coleen. Ms. Farley was one of our 2012 New Jersey Footlights award winners.
