Bring out the board games. Play Monopoly, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders or any of your family's favorite games. Maybe your child received a new game for Christmas. Now's the time to pull it out.
Make breakfast for dinner. Kids love breakfast foods and they're fast and easy to make. Pick chocolate chip pancakes or make heart-shaped french toast. Add bacon, eggs and biscuits and you're ready for dinner.
Create a digital scrapbook. Use photos from Christmas or from playing in the snow to make a scrapbook or photo book. Walgreens is offering 25 percent off photo books through Jan. 26.
