Following are the 10 must-see US soccer events to catch this summer.

1. Guinness International Champions Cup Final

It is the second edition of this tournament in which the best teams from Europe are invited to play on US soil for a battle of the best. The tournament is played at various cities from July 24 to August 4.

2. MLS All-Stars Game

The best from the US league, MLS, will face the German Champion Bayern Munich on August in Portland, Oregon. This is always highly anticipated as the MLS measures its best players against a top-quality European team. Bayern Munich was the 2012-2013 UEFA Champions League title holder.

3. Real Madrid v AS Roma

A must-see match will be played on July 29 in Dallas, Texas. The match is between Spaniard giants Real Madrid versus Italian powerhouse AS Roma. This is one of the most anticipated games of the Guinness International Champions Cup.

4. LA Galaxy v Manchester United

The four-time MLS champions from Los Angeles face Manchester United in a friendly match on July 23 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The Galaxy, who is currently on the up rise, will have to measure up to legendary English Premier League team Man U.

5. Manchester City v Sporting KC

The champions of the English Premier League, Manchester City, will face MLS champions Sporting KC on July 23 at Sporting Park in Kansas City. This battle is very worthy of attending since it is the 2014 American club champion team from Major League Soccer against the 2013-2014 English club champions from the Barclay’s Premier League.

6. Sao Paulo v Orlando City SC

This event includes South American elite Sao Paulo from Brazil in a friendly game against a new expansion MLS team - Orlando City SC. This game is to be played on June 20 in Kissimmee, Florida. Orlando City played in a lower division but will be a Major League Soccer team in 2015.

7. Women’s: US v France

It’s always exciting to watch women’s soccer matches just as much as men’s. Women have revolutionized the sport in their own manner and attending these matches is always worth it. This event will take place twice on June 14 and June 19, first in Tampa and then in Connecticut.

8. León v Santos Laguna

León and Santo Laguna are two Mexican powerhouses that will be playing in a friendly game at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas on July 6. This Mexican shootout should definitely be on your must-see list as it is always nice to get a taste of Mexican soccer.

9. Swansea City v Chivas USA

English club team Swansea City is playing in a friendly match against Mexican team Chivas de Guadalajara on July 16 at Miller Park in Milwaukee. Seeing Mexican footwork against an old English club team will be something special.

10. Guinness International Champions Cup Final Match

This match will be played on August 4 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida. The finalists have not yet been determined, as the tournament starts on July 24, but it will consist of two of the best clubs from Europe.
