If you were attracted to the title of this page seeking a Pope to push the progressive agenda, you will certainly be disappointed! Likewise, if you thought the headline of this story was for trumpeting American interests above all others, you are truly mistaken.
The world needs an American Pope because the world needs a Christian America! And here are 10 inarguable reasons for an American Pope:
1) The United States, in its current shaky position, is the flashpoint for massive world chaos. With a weakened economy, a 'do ask, do tell,' sequestered military--with one less aircraft carrier in the Strait of Hormuz--and a Presidential administration hostile to our allies and 'kumbaya' friendly to our enemies, the Chinese, the North Koreans, the Russians, the Venezuelans, the Iranians, and all Al-Queda affiliates, express increasing empowerment and hostility. Moreover, American patriotism is the most muted in its history! Muted by class warfare and anti-American leadership!

2) America is in dire need of conversion back to the founding principles of our once great nation--in unalienable rights to 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness...' And American Catholics, with over 60 million voters, hold the promise of conversion (through repentance) in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and holiness (in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ) in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist.
3) The Catholic Church has been called, by some, the 'whore of Babylon.' With an American Pope, Catholics can witness to the true whore of this American Babylon in the progressive movement, especially found in the culture of death, the government of socialism, the media of propaganda, and the popular culture of smut and filth. Truth must be revealed!
4) America has its advantages! America, used for evil, is the bully pulpit for everything from crony capitalism to Political Correctness run amok! From insanity and immorality on the left to greed and war-mongering on the right! But an American Pope can utilize the big microphone of America to announce the New Evangelization, the Theology of the Body, the Divine Mercy of Jesus Christ!
5) Radical Islam has labeled America the 'great Satan.' This are partially true. Look at the filth America exports to the world in Hollywood garbage, internet Porn, materialism, hedonism, atheism, abortion on demand, gay marriage, and a whole lot more...and we wonder why we are hated? Look above at numbers 2 and 3!
6) Amazingly, Africa and South America have experienced a spiritual renewal and are in less need of the New Evangelization than Europe or North America! Though it would be PC friendly to have an African Pope or a South American Pope, America is in more dire need of traditional, faithful, orthodox Catholicism!
7) Let's face it, the United States is a moral mess! Divorce is the new norm. Abortion is the genocide of our century! Euthanasia is becoming increasingly acceptable! Porn and premarital sex coincide with gay marriage to create a hedonistic nation gone wild! I could say so much more, but I don't have to!
8) Andrew Cuomo is the foreshadowing of the elected and empowered monster of the culture of death, still growing in America today! It is absolutely possible that this baby killer could be the next President of the United States of America! No baby is safe, not even in the last trimester! And that is O.K. (according to New Yorkers polled) if Andy is fixing their economy! We need an American Pope to inspire the good fight against bad people!
9) By definition the Anti-Christ is anyone who is anti-Christ! Who is a bigger anti-Christian than a President who threatens religious freedom with an HHS mandate? Who is more like the father of lies than a President who is silent on 'fast and furious' and 'Benghazi,' but is all over the place about class warfare and entitlement and 1% greed? President Obama must be countered by an American Vicar of Christ!
10) Finally, the wizard(s) of Oz (behind the curtain of the Obama administration) has yet to be revealed in full. But St. Paul revealed the real wizard of American evil in the 'principalities and powers' of darkness that manipulate our wicked leaders. America, and the world, needs an exorcism done by St. Peter himself...and fast!
