According to a report dated Jan 2, 2013, a robbery that took place in an Apple Store at Opera in Central Paris on New Year's Eve has resulted into a $1 million loss.
The robbers targeted at picking the iPads, iPhones and MacBook computers that were stored in the storeroom, not the showroom.
The UNSA Police says that the robbery was well-planned and they had their targets set on the electronics.
The total number of robbers involved in the incident were four and they moved in quite calmly to the store through a service entrance that is normally used by the staff at the Apple Store.
They entered into the store after a gap of approximately three hours after the store closed and assaulted a worker and security guard.
The looted merchandise was carted off in a Mercedes van that was already waiting outside for the robbers.
