#1 attraction in #1 area for haunted thrills in the world

Your Halloween will be extra creepy at Erebus

Did you know that, square foot for square foot, Southeastern Michigan has more "haunted" thrill attractions than anywhere else in the world? Well, it's true, and we don't simply rely on quantity.  Oh, no!  We also have the top-rated, largest and most frightening attraction you'll find anywhere.

For those of you into such things, there is a place in Pontiac, Michigan that offers all of the thrills, chills, and visceral stomach churning anyone can hope to experience at a haunted "house". Erebus, in Pontiac, is billed by the Guinness Book of Records in 2005 as the “World’s Largest Walk-Through Haunted Attraction” and offers four floors and more than 30,000 sq. ft. of freaky fun to a largely adult audience.

Visits to the “haunted house” named after the son of Greek mythology icons Chaos and Nye (night) are not recommended for kids younger than 13 and the ticket price alone might serve well to keep them away: $22 at the door for a basic ticket; $40 each for a VIP pass that allows a patron to avoid the often daunting wait. Buy on-line and pay an additional $2 “service fee”. However, you can also register on-line to receive a $3 coupon to make your totals slightly less frightening

If you want to be scared – really scared – check out downtown Pontiac’s Erebus…if you dare.
