Washington’s Corcoran Gallery of Art is free on Saturdays from July 4 through the end of August.

The Corcoran, one of DC’s few museums to charge admission, has two major exhibitions: “Maya Lin: Systematic Landscapes”, large installations by the designer of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on The Mall, and “William Eggleston: Democratic Camera, Photographs, and Video, 1961-2008”.
