Fire Escape is a New quilting course that meets Thursdays, September 2 to16, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. This introductory level class will teach students to design a beginner-style quilt with many different colorways. Cost is $55.
Speedy Stars Quilt is a New class that meets Tuesdays, September 7 to 21, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. This intermediate level class allows students to create a finished and ready-to-use quilt. Cost is $55.
Lucky Stars is a quilting course that meets Wednesdays, September 8 to 22, from 9 to 11 a.m. This beginner level class teaches students to make perfect points on star blocks. Cost is $50.
Cake Decorating I meets Tuesdays, September 7 to 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. Students will learn the fundamentals of cake decorating. Instructor is Judy Smith. Cost is $52 plus $3.50 for an instructional book payable to instructor on the first day of class.
The Art of Clowning is a New course that meets Tuesdays, September 7 to November 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. This class is designed to teach basic skills and how to get started in the art of clowning. The cost is $280.
Introduction to Pet Grooming, an eight-week course meeting on Wednesdays, begins September 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Jane’s Pampered Pet Dog Grooming and Pet Boutique, 4830 Broadway, Quincy. Instructor Mary Price will introduce participants to grooming tools, breeds and styling through hands-on training. Cost is $133 plus cost of book.
