Over 30,000 people attended the First Saturday Arts Market on White Linen Night in the Heights. This art market just keeps growing, thanks to founder and manager Mitch Cohen.
Mitch gave 110% to bring people to the neighborhood to see the fabulous artists of Houston! More than 60 artists, groups and organizations had outdoor displays for visitors to enjoy.
With such a fabulous variety of handmade wares and fine arts to choose from, it was difficult for patrons and collectors to chose just one piece. The atmosphere was fun, though hot, everyone took the warm weather with a grain of salt and came out to support the Houston art community.
Many galleries in the Heights were also open with fabulous opening events. The music was another main attraction with more than a dozen first class musicians sharing their art too. Jon Hogan Band played for the art market area.
