War'Haus Visual Studios is quickly becoming the hottest spot in Houston for the hottest artists. Paintings are literally flying off the walls as collectors and patrons flock to this gallery.

Dandee and Gilbert Morales have created the perfect space in the perfect location. Take US 59 into town from south to north and exit Main St. Right at the end of the exit ramp and next to Wendy's you will find this latest Houston emporium for visual art.

Dandee is a visual artist specializing in acrylic on large-scale canvas and is famous for his paintings of familiar cartoon icons. He is currently working on a huge canvas featuring a scene from The Simpsons. Some of his other work includes The Flintstones, Superman, South Park and many more familiar cultural symbols. His business partner, Gilbert, is a photographer, which makes a nice variety of fresh art.

Several other artists are also currently featured in the huge gallery area including Anna Spradley, Wiley Robertson, Brian Boyter, Daniel Beach, Stephanie Gonzalez, Barbara Harmer and many more.

Considering the gallery has only been open since April of this year, Dandee and Gilbert have had much success already. Presently, there are no real business hours but visit on weekdays after 5pm or call 832-768-9515 to schedule an appointment.

The next exhibit opening is scheduled for July 17, 2010 featuring Houston's women artists. Mark your calendars today.
