Concrete Couch is a non-profit organization that facilitates and promotes creative activities by working with schools, community centers or governmental groups – whoever needs help organizing and carrying out fun, educational projects.
Each program is tailored to the group’s needs and abilities, and Concrete Couch's staffers work with volunteers, teaching participants how to create in a variety of media. In addition, participants learn how to brainstorm ideas, work with others and make a difference in the community – in accordance with Concrete Couch’s motto: Building Community Through Creative Projects.
Past public art projects include ones with veterans, Community Prep School students, neighborhood associations and many other groups in the Pikes Peak region.
