The HauntedCon 2009 guests arrived back into the banquet room at the Hotel St Michael bright and early Saturday morning. The first speaker of the day was Michael Polani of P.A.S.T. Michael presented some incredible evidence of “Arizona Crop Circles” with his display of photographs. Many guests were not aware that crop circles appear regularly in Arizona. He shared tales of his explorations and recorded evidence found throughout the state.

Paulette Huff took the stage and did a presentation on “Psychic Mediums and Empaths”. Paulette has always been interested in the paranormal and realized she had a rare gift as empath while on an investigation in 2004. She has the ability to pick up the emotions that a spirit may have left behind and deliver their messages to the present. When she is not traveling or investigating new haunted locations, Paulette is CFO for Haunted Times Magazine.
The dynamic duel of Brian J. Cano and Chris Mancuso livened up the guests with tales of their wild antics filming the DVD’s “SCARED!” Their “Urban Explorer’s Backpack” was filled with fast paced humor that amused and astonished the crowd at the same time. Check out their website and order DVD’s of their investigations.
Ericka Boussarhane returned to the stage to do a “Psychic Gallery Reading” for the HauntedCon guests. She gave a brief reading or message to each person. The tissue box was passed up and down the rows as this remarkable psychic reaffirmed some of their inner most secrets. She donated the gallery reading funds to the charities HauntedCon supports.
After a quick lunch break, Carmen Reed—the real mom involved in “A Haunting in Connecticut” showed the documentary revolving around the paranormal case. The guests had several questions about her experiences while residing in the house, and she opened the doors to many of the secrets of the old Colonial with the morgue in the basement. It was interesting to see how the movie and documentary paralleled with the true story Carmen has chosen to share.
The last speaker of the event was Christopher Moon relating the tale of how he came into the procession of the exclaimed “Telephone to the Dead”. Several guests at HauntedCon had readings with Chris Moon and his magical box and will attest that it is “the REAL thing.” Imagine losing a close friend or a loved one and having the opportunity to be able to speak to them and hear their voice one more time. Christopher Moon provides a connection to the “other world” like no other.
In closing, the HauntedCon team, speakers, and guests shared a delicious dinner in the banquet room of the Hotel St. Michael. Donated raffle items were in abundance. An auction to raise money for charities had bidders anxious for great prizes. To end the night, the Karaoke DJ provided the group with music that led almost everybody on the dance floor or singing as the next American Paranormal Idol.
