PACC Intake list descriptions:
Animal ID - The number that Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) assigns to each animal brought in for care and to all information about that animal. If you are calling PACC regarding an animal that you see on this site, please make sure that that you note the animal ID number, as it is the quickest and most convenient way to locate information about an animal
Location found - The area where an animal was found and/or impounded. It may be an intersection or address closest to where it was found. Keep in mind that animals can travel great distances, so it is always recommended that you come to the shelter at least every other day to look for your lost pet
Species - The type of animal listed, e.g., dog or cat
Gender - This is the pre-altered gender, not the current reproductive status. Examples: An intact male and a neutered male will both be listed as male. An intact female and a spayed female will both be listed as female.
Breed - Our best guess, as determined by the physical traits and characteristics of the animal brought in to the shelter. Please understand that what we see may not be what you see or know. Therefore, we always encourage you to come to the shelter at least every other day to look for your lost pet
Admitted - The date an animal was brought into PACC.
Photo - Our photograph of the animal listed.
