Stephen Dickstein, associated with the animal protection world for many years, is a proud parent of four four-legged children who bring a ray of sunshine to his life. Formerly with the Montgomery County Animal Services Division, the Humane Society of the United States and liaison to the MWCOG Animal Services Committee, Stephen definitely knows how much animals mean to individuals, communities and the world. Steve also knows the struggles, concerns and emotional highs and lows that loving animals bring to those who care for them. Steve is committed to the animal community and its ideals. He believes society is often judged by the way it treats the animals in its care and that each community must develop responsible goals with its animal services agency to protect those creatures that are unable to protect themselves.
