The Dallas Police Department today confirmed that two cats killed recenlty in Northwest Dallas were not victims of predators, but were strangled and then severed with a sharp blade. Animal welfare advocates and rescue groups constantly work to make the public understand the importance of keeping cats inside. There are numerous reasons - dangers from cars, predators, accidental poisoning, disease, and more. Not to mention the fact that most cities in the area have leash laws that apply to cats as well as dogs. But there is no reason quite as compelling as the reality that there is a cat killer on the loose.
And this is not an isolated incident. There are plenty of stories of cats being killed and mutilated all across North Texas, whether by animal abusers or urban wildlife. So do your cat a favor, and don't let him become a victim. Keep him inside. It's safe and it's the law.

There is a special place in HELL for the killers of these magnificent creatures !
People who kill animals for fun and torture them are one step away from killing people and becoming serial killers.
