On Wednesday, April 28, from 6:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m., the Henderson Art Project heART show will bring together the arts community and the animal rescue community. Over 70 pieces of original art donated by local professional artists will be available for sale at the event, which runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Each piece is valued at over $800, but will be available for just $400, and half of that will go directly to Richardson Humane Society. Richardson Humane Society is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that has rescued and found homes for over 1700 pets since 2000.

The Henderson Art Project (H.A.P.) is a collaborative effort between business and the arts where all stakeholders prosper. H.A.P. recently placed pieces of original art along Henderson Avenue and asked the public to vote for their favorites. The winners of the “People’s Choice” awards will also be announced at the event. And don't miss the great dogs from Richardson Humane Society. They'll be on hand, too, hoping to find loving, permanent homes.

The party takes place at Marc Events, 1130 Dragon Street, Suite 120, in Dallas, and parking, as well as the admission is free. So join the fun, buy some art, meet some artists, and maybe even take home a new best friend.
