Chris Brown gets more time to work on his anger before sentencing

Chris Brown’s sentencing hearing for the violent assault against his former girlfriend Rhianna was postponed to August 27th. Chris Brown was charged with two felonies: assault and criminal threats for the Grammy weekend domestic violence incident.
Soon after the incident Chris Brown was thought to be taking
anger management classes at an undisclosed Pasadena location.
Chris Brown recently released an
apology video suggesting he was sorry for his actions but he did not discuss in detail what those actions were.
By California law anyone convicted of Domestic Violence must take a 52 week domestic violence class. Although and anger management course covers similar ideas as a domestic violence class, anger management classes are not accepted as a substitute
Most courts order anger management classes when an assault does not involve a significant other as in the case of Chris Brown and Rhianna.
