After eight months without a weekly fix, American Idol will be returning to Fox's television line up in January. The commercials have already begun airing. The show is slated to premiere on January 12 and 13, 2010 at 8:00 pm.
In the meantime, Idol fans can get their fix of past contestant videos on the official American Idol website. Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, and Allison Iraheta all discuss their debut albums as well as what their life has been like after Idol. There are catch ups with Elliot Yamin and Blake Lewis, as well as Blake's, Jason Castro's, and Brandon Roger's latest videos. There are even previews of Season 9 auditions.
Photos and news are also plentiful, and there's a chance to be in an Idol commercial.
What are you most excited about in terms of Idol's return? Is it the judges, the talent, or the lack thereof? Is it the guest judges or the addition of Ellen DeGeneres to the panel? Whatever it is, fun will surely ensue when Ryan Seacrest announces the return of America's favorite reality TV show to our screens once more.
