Missing children alerts in real time, updated every minute
The following alerts are for children missing and endangered. Many of the children have Amber Alerts issued, however, after one week, those cases transfer from the ‘Active Amber Alert’ status to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s ‘missing’ child status. The change in terminology does not mean that a child is not in danger, or that a statewide Amber Alert is not in effect.
This list will automatically update and show current information regarding the latest Amber Alert cases as well as children whose status have transferred on the NCMEC website. Each link will bring you to the NCMEC poster where you may download information to print and create flyers, or even post on the Internet. When a child is missing the most important step that citizens can take is to spread the word to as many people as possible, using as many methods as possible.
When a child is missing, no method is off limits. Social networks are a great way to spread the word quickly. Using sites such as MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter can notify millions of a missing child case in minutes.
Please consider bookmarking this page and visiting it frequently as the information will continually update and new children will be listed.

What about children who do not make the National Exploited of Missing Chidlren?

You are right- there are many children who are missing everyday who don't make an Amber Alert status. Many are in the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, but they don't receive the attention that some children get.
It's a big undertaking, but I am going to put real time alerts for every state- I'm not sure how long it will take to get all fifty states uploaded but I'm going to do it. All of the children need our attention. Sadly, there are so many missing...

The list does update every minute, however, it updates when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children updates their system. When they remove her name, it will be removed from the list- I'm glad to hear she is safe.
