Amber Alert issued for missing 7 year old girl, Amanda Wambar
An Amber Alert has been issued for a 7 year old girl missing from Detroit, Michigan. Police state that Amanda Gretchen Wambar was taken by her non custodial mother, Laquanda Monique Barnes-Wambar, and is believed to be in extreme danger.
The report says that Amanda was abducted from her aunt’s home. The two were last seen in a purple cab on Sunday, January 3, 2009 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Laquanda Monique Barnes-Wambar’s parental rights were recently terminated due to a history of drug abuse and other charges that include the welfare and safety of Amanda, reports say.
Amanda Gretchen Wambar is black and has brown hair and brown eyes. Laquanda Monique Barnes-Wambar is 39-years-old and weighs 150 pounds. She is 5’8 and has brown hair and brown eyes, she is black.
