Amber Alert cancelled for two Lake Wales, Florida girls: mother in custody

An Amber Alert was cancelled for two missing Lake Wales, Florida girls today. The girls, Alysha Plain, 4, and Kayahra Plain, 5, were kidnapped from their father, Major Plain, during an armed home invasion. The girls, their mother, Candice Dionne Wright, and a man, Saedaddus Abdus-Samad, 33, were located in Orlando, Florida. Candice Wright and her companion, Saedaddus Abdus-Samad, were arrested and taken into custody.

Major Plain stated that at approximately 9:45 a.m. the girl’s mother and Abdul-Samad broke into his apartment and kidnapped the girl. Another unidentified man was with the pair, one carried a knife and the other had a gun. Authorities state the mother lived with the two men in Apopka, Florida.
