Oklahoma FreeWheel seminars

FreeWheel is Oklahoma's annual cross-state bicycle tour. The 2010 edition will take place from June 13 to June 19.

This year's series of "Get Ready” cycling seminars are presented by Tom’s Bicycles and FreeWheel Inc. The seminars are open to all interested cyclists, not just FreeWheel participants. Please watch for new information at the Oklahoma FreeWheel site. What follows is a preliminary schedule, so times and places are subject to change.

The seminars will meet in Tulsa at the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, Health Sciences Center at 1111 West 17th Street (17th and Southwest Boulevard to some) in Room D-007 from 7:00 to 9:00pm . Parking is available behind the building. Security can direct you to the auditorium.

Additionally, the Tulsa Bicycle Club meetings include speakers on a variety of bicycling topics, including FreeWheel. In the spring, TBC has a series of rides with increasing distances each week, in an effort to prepare riders for the cross-state event. The schedule for those rides will be posted here when it becomes available.
