Here in the states, there has been some contemplation about the good old fashioned seasonal flu vs. swine flu. Most find there is very little contrast between the two. There have been stirs from the holistic community and warnings from the natural communities about the motives behind all of the hype behind the H1N1 vaccine, but most of these musings are swept under the carpet. Over the pond it is quite a different story...
Europeans Question Validity of H1N1 Flu Pandemic
European scientists and health authorities are being questioned about the validity of the H1N1 Flu Pandemic. Many are inquiring why the pandemic flu virus has not caused the death and destruction touted in recent public service announcements.
British and French media are accusing medical researchers of hyping up the pandemic for financial gain, boosting research grants and lining the pockets of drug companies.
Swine Flu Headlines over Seas
Britain’s Independent newspaper this week asked "Pandemic? What Pandemic?" .
France's Le Parisien newspaper ran the headline: "Swine flu: why the French distrust the vaccine" and made light of the stark difference between the predicted impact of H1N1 and the less dramatic reality. "Although some 30-odd people have died....the disease is not really frightening," it said. "Dangerous liaisons between certain experts, the labs and the government, the obscurity of the contracts between the state and the pharma firms have added to the doubt."
In recent months Britain’s health authorities have revised their original worst-case numbers of possible deaths caused by the H1N1 pandemic down on two separate occasions. The initial prediction was said to be as many as 65,000 deaths could be expected. When revising this number for the seasonal winter flue season, only about a 4,000 to 8,000 death toll was to be expected all year. Now they are predicting only around 1,000 deaths to be attributed to the flu.
Scientists walking a fine line in response to the media, say that although the virus is mild, it can still kill, and that the relatively low fatalities in Europe are in part, the result of official response to their advice.
Research the Dangers of Vaccines before Getting the Jab
Still homeopathic and holistic health care practitioners recommend thorough research needs to be conducted by anyone who is contemplating getting this season’s flu shot or H1N1 vaccine, or any immunization. As for this writer, all shots are off the table. A focus on natural health and natural ways to boost the immune system is in order.

VERY interesting perspective. I had not heard this at all, and it's always fascinating how the news & views outside our borders show a much broader context of thought. Thank you so much, Katrina, for always broadening our minds & spirits.
Finally some truth
A new development in the H1N1 Vaccine Saga is unfolding in Canada."while health officials are pushing for an acceleration of the vaccination program, there is evidence of so-called "unusual adverse reactions" including three recently recorded deaths directly resulting from the vaccine." Google Canada: The Killer H1N1 Vaccine...
I would believe anything after what we have been and are going to be going thru with this "leadership". Anything to get rid of the population and reduce "costs". Katrina thank you for exposing this so we can be more discerning and learn news which the mainstream media thinks is inappropriate for us. Keep up the excellent work.
