Mark Pinkham
I received an invitation from Mark Amaru Pinkham yesterday, inviting me to join the World Alliance for Planetary Enlightenment. I called Mark to get more information so I could put together an article.
Q. What inspired you to create the World Alliance for Planetary Enlightenment?
A. It evolved out of an inspiration I had to re-unite all the various Secret Societies so we can work together to spread the gnostic-alchemical path around the globe. We all began as guardians of this path, although some of us have forgotten our origins, and now is the time that we can potentially spread it globally to assist humanity in its ascension.
Q. Will you be holding a meeting soon?
A. Our first gathering and conference will be in Osimo, Italy, April 17-18, 2010, when we will have representatives from Secret Societies from all over the globe come and share our united mission of guarding and disseminating the gnostic-alchemical path. .
Q. What groups make up the World Alliance for Planetary Enlightenment?
A. We are an affiliation of organizations known popularly as the Knights Templar, the Freemasons, the Rosicrucians, etc., which were formed before, during, and after the Crusades. For the past two thousand years we have served as guardians of the ancient path of alchemy that leads to human evolution and inner, divine wisdom or gnosis.
Q. The old adage of secret societies is "To know, to dare, to do and to be silent." Does this mark a shift from secrecy and exclusivity to a more open sharing of the teachings on the path?
A. We are now ready to spread the gnostic-alchemical knowledge throughout the globe in order to assist our brothers and sisters in their evolutionary transformation during this pivotal time in history.
We are members of what has been called the Secret Societies and the Underground Stream. Secrecy for ourselves, our teachings, and our mission has been paramount in order to preserve and safeguard the gnostic-alchemical path. We are now ready to move forward into the world like the Spiritual Warriors we have always been and complete our mission of uplifting the consciousness of humanity.
Q. What is your ultimate goal?
A. Our goal has always been to create a one-world spirituality where all people could enjoy freedom of both religious ideology and spiritual experience. With this goal in mind, we have been the founders of many of the world's democracies which were built upon such basic human rights. Our ultimate goal is to unite all of humanity into a one-world family. But to accomplish this, the boundaries that separate us must be dissolved.
Q. How do you intend to do that?
A. We are separated by crystallized religious and ideological dogmas. To help our brothers and sisters experience spiritual freedom, we are resolved to help them break free of these dogmas. All religious dogma began with an enlightened, gnostic sage who had evolved his or her consciousness through alchemy and achieved a gnostic revelation. When that gnostic died, his or her disciples sought to interpret their Master's revelation in accordance with their own limited understanding. The disciples' distortions of their Master's gnostic revelations became crystallized into religions that propagated their limited, dogmatic beliefs. Those who then joined these religions were forced to accept their dogmatic beliefs. And the members of certain religions were also encouraged to force people outside their religion to accept the limited dogmas as well – often at the point of a sword.
It is thus evident that if all the world's religions were to shear away the dogma that separates them, each religion would reveal a common essence. That essence is universal truth that was discovered inside the heart of the original Gnostic Master. Through spiritual evolution (alchemy) we will all eventually discover the universal truth in our own hearts, just as the original Gnostic Masters did. The need for an outer book or priest to instruct us will then disappear.
When enough of us have tapped into our inner wisdom or gnosis through the path of alchemy, a one-world spirituality based upon the universal truths found within each person's heart can then be shared by all humanity. We will finally become what we have always been, a one-world family.
