Lisbon treaty gets some political spice.

You  have heard of posh, baby, scary and sporty – well now here comes political spice.

Regina O Connor has just landed with a bang and a new book into the current Lisbon Treaty political foray to spice up your life. On October the 2nd Ireland is having its second referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.  The book fills in the YES communications vacuum that has been hitherto occupied by the NO campaign and brings about more balance and truth.

The current Taoiseach - Irish PM - has called her book a valuable contribution in his foreword to the same.

Political spice also has an x factor. She has uniquely worked in all three institutions Council, Commission and Parliament and is also a qualified solicitor. She was recently chosen by the British Council to represent Ireland as a participant of the TransAtlantic 2020 Young Leader Network, a Network of 100 young leaders chosen from North America and Europe in July 2008. She is now part of the Yes to Lisbon Treaty Campaign as legal and political advisor to Pat Cox, 'Ireland for Europe'.

She wants to create a Viva Forever effect between her country Ireland and the whole of the European Union. By giving voters The Reasons Why they should vote yes to the treaty in October, Regina wants to inspire them all using her experience of the EU. With her well researched and written book she might just get her wish. Regina says, "I wrote this book out of a frustration that the voters were not been communicated to honestly. In the chapter on the Treaty which you can download for free, I brief you personally as a solicitor - your personal political & legal advisor, why this Treaty will not and does not threaten our sovereignty, abortion law, tax, neutrality and workers rights.  My hope is that we can then have an honest debate based on fact and not the fiction, misrepresentation and sometimes downright lies which the No campaigners have been stirring up. My main message is that the Treaty increases democracy; not diminishes it. "

Regina and her book may be just the alternative medicine needed by the YES campaign in Ireland. Her tinctures of reason, barks of fact and herbs of natural truth may give to the campaign, the stamina and vital force it needs to bring a YES vote in for Ireland and the European Union.  Not to mention heal the nightmares that the NO campaign has created and that the Irish nation needs to wake up from.  She says no where else is prevention better than cure as in the example of the recent economic state of Iceland.
