Melissa is your favorite perky goth. An aspiring fiction writer, her favorite topics include ghosts, zombies, elves, and her beautiful hometown of Pittsburgh, where she has lived all her life. Because of this, she often spends her time in the city, learning as much about its dark corners as she can, smoking cloves and wearing her giant headphones. She likes to write what she knows, which includes tattoos and piercings, silk and vinyl, hair dye and makeup, and vegetarian food and where to eat it. Most days she can be found in Carnegie Library's Crazy Mocha cafe, drinking Italian sodas and pouring over dark literature, as well as revising her zombie plan.
