Les Phillip for Congress releases new ad, “A story of two young men”
Les Phillip for Congress today released the following ad, “A story of two young men.” The commercial juxtaposes President Obama with Les Phillip and the two very different paths that they have taken. Les is running for congress in Alabama's 5th district for the seat currently held by recent Democrat turned Republican Parker Griffith.
"This is the story of two young men. One fell in with left wing radicals. The other immigrated to America. While one played with terrorists and allowed his America-hating pastor to baptize his children, the other joined the Navy to defend his country.
I love America, but President Obama is ashamed of it. I’m going to Congress to help stop him from destroying our nation. And they’re not going to call me a racist. I’m Les Phillip and I took an oath to defend this country against enemies, foreign and domestic. And I approve this message."

Les is trying to use conservative's general dissatisfaction with Obama to gain popularity. He also alludes to the idea that a black man cannot be called a racist. Not sure where that came from. But what is really idiotic is that Les Phillip seems to think he's running against Obama. He's running against Mo Brooks and Parker Griffith.
Les is very intelligent & "passion" is his motivator! In his "pre-candidate" era, I knew him on daily basis. He is used to dealing with "short & sweet points"! If anything, the campaign manager is probably the same way. Therefore approving a "spot" that should at least make you LOOK at his page & values! www.lesphillip.com Media-wise, the only ones allowed to call the 'race card' are Dems. (too bad ethnic is still an issue) I have no idea if the motivation is BP's off-shore neglect; Alabama is be one of the hardest hurt & it's possible that his message was in a direct rebutal!
