Geneva Chapman, creator of the term AfrAm Style, is a student of her culture and a connoisseur of the same. She can trace my ancestry back to my great-great grandparents, Charles and Amanda who were freed slaves. She has reported on events in Toledo's secular community for the past twenty years, receiving the 2008 Northwest Ohio Black Media Achievement Award for her efforts. Her goal now is to create a calendar and a record of the events that reflect and enrich culture in the Toledo area.
