One day after Michael Jackson's film "This Is It" thrilled the world and racked up millions worldwide, talk of the late "King of Pop" has turned morbid as rumors of Michael Jackson's autopsy photos have begun to circulate the Internet.
Why some would want to see the autopsy photos is unclear, but Jackson fans (and some haters, as well) have made the topic one of the hottest trends today on the World Wide Web.
Autopsy photos of celebrities garner both attention and big bucks. It's rumored that celebrity magazines and tabloids pay $1 million or more for the disturbing images, and the fascination with death and celebrities in our culture makes this topic all the more popular.
Michael Jackson wouldn't be the first celebrity whose autopsy photos garnered so much attention. Tupac Shakur's rumored autopsy photos created a huge buzz, as did Princess Diana.
Michael Jackson's "This Is It" hit theaters on Wednesday, and will be in cinemas for two weeks.
