Shameful Barack Obama

So, it appears that the worst president in American history, Barack Obama, is going to be interviewed by scam artist Oprah Winfrey for a Christmas special titled Christmas at the White House. This should be exciting!
For liberals, this is great. It shows "diversity" by having an African American woman interview the first African American president. But for realists, this is yet another strike against African Americans.
Oprah has damaged the image of African American woman by making it seem that in order to succeed, you have to appeal to middle aged white women. She pretends to care about African American causes, but lives in a Chicago neighborhood where "dangerous" Blacks can't even be seen.
Barack Obama is a completely different story. Actually, he's half White, has been raised by White parents, and then plays the race card when he thinks it will benefit him. Barack Obama is a speaker with empty words. He believes that policies that mirror socialism are the only way to solve problems. Instead of pushing for personal responsibility, Obama and his liberal loonies want to take money away from people who have worked hard and give it away to many people who haven't. Why not even throw a couple dollars to criminal illegal aliens?
Many who watch Christmas at the White House from their homeless shelters will wonder what Mr. Obama plans to do about our economy. But for Oprah and Obama, it's image that matters, not people.

What an idiotic racist article. What's wrong with appealing to middle aged white women? Is there something wrong with middle aged white women? Should blacks only relate & live with other blacks? Should we go back to the days of segregation? And what's wrong with a black person living in a rich area? Should all blacks stay in the ghetto? Is that what you want? I'm an Aussie and came across this article - what a shame because it confirms for me the "terror" created by extremists. They can be from the "Right" as per this article and the "Left" have their own. How about some compassion and respect for humans regardless of race or politics. The bias in this story is centered on just that - race and political ideology.
I am white in the last election I voted for obama. Doing so not because he was black and the "novelty" of it. He has some good idea's like Nat’l healthcare and I liked McCain a lot less. That being said yes we are facing tough economic times i.e. 10.2% unemployment. and in my view obama hasn't been specific enough about his plans to address these issues. At least ,however, he has a plan unlike bush. Time will tell with regards to Obama's presidency.
You're right to call the Obama/Oprah interview publicity. However every president has done publicity stunts i.e. bush flying out to the aircraft carrier, Clinton arranging the stones in a cross on Omaha beach.

I, like others have stated, am upset that I cam across this article. I have to wonder why we continue to allow the voice of the media to become our own. To say that Obama is socialist is absurd. Most don't even understand what socialism is (if they did, it probably wouldn't be said with such disgust). We are all going through this crisis together and, in my opinion, should spend our energy educating ourselves about how to help to solve the problem rather than taking the time to through daggers at others who are trying to make a difference. I am thankful to see so many responders opposed to this article and I hope that we continue to do our best to set the record straight on what really matters. I assure you that it has little to do with the color of our skin, the neighborhood we live in, or even our political affiliation. We are all human, just a few paychecks away from watching the Christmas at the Whitehouse special from a shelter.
