Jennifer Lopez debuted her new song "Louboutins" in a performance at the tonight's American Music Awards. "Louboutins" is the first single of her new album Love? which is set to release next year.
The performance was powerful and displayed Jennifer Lopez in her element of song and dance, but regardless of how the performance went, it will be remembered for one thing: the fall. Lopez performed the highly dance filled show with vigor but at one point landed on her bottom, boom, straight onto the AMA stage floor. It was one of those "Ohhhh, that's unfortunate" moments where no longer does anything you do matter, you slipped up, literally. And where there is a mistake there is YouTube and every other media outlet to put the 1 second slip up on repeat. Let me set the scene for you....
JLo's male dancers set up center stage, each bending over to create a staircase for Lopez to climb on. Lopez steps up onto their backs one by one then jumps of the highest point with her knees high in the air in a squat position. Then, when her feet should have landed straight onto the floor, they flew right under her and her bottom hit the floor instead. BUT instantaneously she popped right back up, so quickly that if you turned away for one second you would not have even known. She fiercely jumped right back into choreography like a pro. And it happened to be that she had solo dance moment immediately following the fall, which she executed. It was hard to pay attention to the solo piece though, because you still had your hand over your mouth in awe.
The press room was in uproar, people laughing, those who felt bad and those who were proud she bounced right back up. And of course the comment heard most around was "Well at least she has the cushion to help her" and "She fell on her butt but she's got the JLo butt, no doubt she would bounce back up." It was a humorous moment, that is no question, but JLo handled it. We then sat in the press room to watch the producers attempt to edit out the moment for the west coast showing of the show. So we watched it numerous times. Although it was edited, like I said, the internet is not and it will be seen.
Well, we saw what an award show slip up for Taylor Swift did for her career, maybe JLo will have the same luck. Regardless, here it is for your viewing pleasure. Let me know what you think and how her performance was despite the fall. What do you think of her new song?

Whatever to the haters!! JLo killed, it was so good. She was such a pro and got right back up. I can't wait for Love? to come out.
I like the song. I didn't think she had the same 'vigor' she used to, but she is older and a mama now. I still might buy her album. People will forget about the fall before you know it. It can happen to anyone.
It was a good song and her performance was good. Sounds like something she would do. But she was totally lip syncing! Why only make fun of Britney? What's so special about J Lo? She can't sing live either! Would never pay to see her live.

J-Lo's 16 year old daughter is pregnant,she's going to be a Grandmother for christ sake!...she shouldn't be jumping around on stage like this!!
Lopez has No talent whatsoever and I wish she would just Go Away!!
