The teaser poster for next summer's big film, Iron Man 2, was released today and it is pretty sweet. It features Iron Man and War Machine and can be seen here. For those who do not know who War Machine is, this is a spoiler warning.
Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man and Don Cheadle has taken over for Terrence Howard as Rhodey and will eventually become War Machine. This time around Iron Man will be doing battle with Whiplash, played by Mickey Rourke, and the femme fatale known as Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson. Jon Favreau has also returned to direct the eagerly anticipated sequel.
The first film was a huge success and helped revive Downey's once promising career. Downey's performance was a major reason why the film was both a critical and commercial success.
Iron Man 2 is due to hit theaters on May 7, 2010. The first teaser trailer for the Paramount feature is rumored to be attached to James Cameron's Avatar.
