At the young age of ten, Shia LaBeouf began acting. He was not a dramatic thespian but rather a comedian, with his future eventually shifting back to acting.
His future arived quickly! When 12, LaBeouf began acting with Disney. He worked on the Disney Channel series called Even Stevens.
In 2003, Holes was a non-Disney film that LaBeouf was a part of. That same year he also appeared as lead in The Battle of Shaker Heights. He never knew that "revenge" was coming.
LaBeouf, along with fellow talent, would become ACTION characters big time! In Transformers LaBeouf worked along side Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel and director Michael Bay.
Before Transformers or Indiana Jones ever happened, there was a period of transition. LaBeouf went from teen roles in The Greatest Game Ever Played and Disturbia, opposite Carrie-Anne Moss, and then soon to follow, Transformers.
Action flic Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) LaBeouf portrayed Indiana's son. From Indiana he hopped on board, again with another Transformers. The sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, was a grand success.
In addition to acting, Shia also succeeded at directing. In early 2009 LaBeouf teamed up with rapper Chris "Cage" Palko to direct the music video for "I Never Knew You," the first single off of Cage's third album, Depart From Me. According to the LA Weekly, this video marks the first in a series of collaborations between LaBeouf and Cage and will ultimately result in a film about the rapper's life starring LaBeouf.
"Variety" reported that LaBeouf might join the cast of Wall Street 2. On June 2, 2009 it was confirmed that LaBeouf signed onto to star as the lead role in Wall Street 2, the sequel to the Academy Award-winning film Wall Street. In the film Labeouf will play an "ambitious, young Wall Street trader who is engaged to Gekko's (Michael Douglas) daughter". Principal photography was set for August 2009, and the film is tentatively set to be released in February, 2010.

According to shia-labeouf.biz and shia-source.com his debut directing was Minds Awake by Rumspringa. Actually a lot of these facts are wrong if any of the fansites I visit are right. Sorry.
Lainey is right. Also, Holes was in fact a Disney film.
Thanks! Don't know how "debut" got in there. Feel free to point out and give responses to any of the article. If I was a fan to each talent written about I might notice the mistakes more easily and not make my own as often either. :) But it's hard to be a fan of all, although I am more so now that I'm learning about them.
Thanks again!
